It’s at least 17 years since the last time I was here, but – boy – did the Mackenzie Beach in Larnaka ever change!!
There are luxury multi-person beds here now, beautiful walkways, consistency, cool bars and apparently an outstanding night life, true to the spirit of “come party in Cyprus”.
The only things that stayed as I remember them back then are the long beach and the warm water.
Big “thank you” to my cousin Elena Kontemeniotis for driving us from Nicosia. Last time I saw her children beautiful Pola and tennis-star Nick was, hmm, 15 years ago? Time flies, man!
